£500 to spend

Long time member (since 2008) but can't seem to sign in now!

Been out of London for some years, but moving back next week, and need a bike for getting about the place.

Max budget of £500 but less is fine, if it's good, and used is fine too if the quality is good.

I've been out of the game for a while? What's the choice these days? Pompino? Plug? Paddy Wagon?

I did try to look through old posts for answers to this, but didn't find a FAQ or stickie, so please feel free to direct me to a thread if that has been answered 18781 times!

What frame size are you after?

Dolan Pre Cursa, Fuji track, etc etc, been some good used bikes in classifieds, watch and wait for a week something might spring up :)

+1 on what frame size, someone might hit you up direct with a complete bike for sale if they know the size, or try a Wanted ad in the classifieds section of the forum.

Pulled the trigger on a Marin Nicasio SS 2017 for just short of £400. It'll do the trick, and was available immediately. I'll probably get the bug again and be in the market for something sexier soon, but to get me up and running, it'll do!
