  • What are people using to re-proof their duck cotton? I think I just used bees wax before but it seemed to wear off pretty fast

  • I used the Carradice stuff last time I did mine; IIRC it's rebranded Millerain wax (literally; they've just put a Carradice sticker on the lid of the tin). Any wax proofer should work, mind - I've got some Barbour wax for my rain cape and will use that next time, as it's cheaper per ml in the big tin I got.

  • Get a bar of Fjallraven Greenland wax. Works a treat
