Hi. This sold locally.
Kinesis 5T Disc Frameset (Frame and Carbon Fork with alu steerer). 57cm sized frame in Orange. £358
Used but very clean having only had a short amount of use. Please see the photos to get an idea of the condition. I've tried to be very very honest with the photos showing the very small imperfections caused by it being built up and used for a very short period of time. There's a few very tiny chips in the paint, on the rear drive side chainstay and on the side of the headtube. There's a tiny bit of paint loss around the bottom bracket shell from having had a bottom bracket fitted and a very small mark where the front mech was mounted, both of which will probably be hidden when built up again. I've highlighted these small imperfections in the photos pointing to them with a ball point pen so you can get an idea of their tiny scale. Also a few very small dirt flecks on the underside of the downtube. Overall though a very very clean and shiny nearly new looking frame. Once built up it looks almost pristine.
I used it for a very short time, a couple of times on road (in the dry summer/ autumn) and once on a dry gravel track. Long enough to realise it's a great frameset, almost steel like in ride quality, but with the stiffness and light weight of really good quality aluminium, with a good responsive carbon fork. A great multi purpose bike that rode well on road with 28mm road tyres and great offroad on 35mm cyclocross / gravel tyres. Good for commuting, road riding and off road adventures.
Includes BB cable guide (fitted), rear mech hanger, downtube front mech adjuster (fitted) and seatpost clamp. The fork steerer has had only a tiny bit cut off it so it is still very long. So you have the choice of keeping it long and mounting the stem and bars in a very upright position or cutting it down a bit for a lower position to suit however you prefer it to be set up.
Headset not included.
There are helicopter (transparent) tape patches fitted on the edges of the head tube to protect the paintwork where the cables pass by when it is built up.
Price is collected. It can be posted at cost. It will be very carefully packaged up in the original Kinesis box it came out of just a few months ago and sent with a tracked courier.
