This is a pretty early C4 Peregrine from memory.
My dad wanted to get me a watch and at the time I really wanted something in PVD. I'm not sure if I would have chosen it now but after some time away from it I do really like the look and feel of it, even if it isn't mechanical. -

Was thinking about a CWC G10 type watch. I do like all this fancy stuff on here, and I would wear the couple lower cost autos I have... but the Seiko Arctura is the only thing getting wrist time.
Seems that a nice thin/strong/whatever quartz would do me fine. Should probably just wear the Rotary, though it's a bit dressy. It would do fine with a different dial, come to think of it.

G10's are a great watch. I love the history surrounding them (especially issued watches). They wear really well and are super simple. I'd recommend finding one.

So, my Oris not keeping time - I tested it against the iPhone Tesla app and that suggested mild magnetism, so I bought one of those demagnetisers. Used it, the magnetism went away - it’s no longer losing time. Best 12 quid I ever spent!

That certainly seems cheaper than buying a watch which is certified to 15,000 Gauss

Although Omega did just send me these, slightly surprisingly:

Needs wrist shot.

Used to wear this daily, with leather straps. Now it just seems too damn shiny.

here you go, with the sun shining* :) properly sized case for my skinny wrist at 31 mm
not a decent pic as it is cloudy over here. it turns out the watch might not have a Zenith movement*.. will have to look into it - the dial needs a clean anyway as it is full of fingerprints..

Almost feel that bezel should open like a fob.

That SM300 is gorgeous. My only slight issue is the pre-aged lume, but I suppose it does look nicer that way, and saves waiting 20+ years.

It divides opinion but I really like it, I quite missed my Steinhart mil-sub homage which also features the same colour palette of lume and face.

That omega is horrible, too large and shiny, give me matte finish and 36mm any day
-
• #25997
It's 39mm, the Seamaster.

I don't wear it much. You're welcome to it back. I warn you though, I have fucked it ever so slightly.

I've got my Railmaster now for my faux-vintage Lume fix. What have you done to the Steinhart?

Still want an explorer 1. Still won’t ever be able to afford one.
Looks pretty good. I have one, with a blue dial, I posted it about 6-7 pages back. This example has a rebrushed case which would put me off a bit but on the plus side the original bracelet and endlinks which are very desirable. I’ve never seen a 176.007 with this crystal though which slightly worries me.
Edit: nah, the crystal looks original.
