Halo Clickster is fantastic for less money than a WI.

I run a trials one - Echo 108 SL but it comes only in 18t.
And there's usually a limited number of tooth options if you go trials and not WI.

last year I saw a 7410 crankset NOS inside the box on a local, and old, bike store.
I saw it because the owner showed it to me not because it was for sale.
If you want I can go there and see if it's still there and if the man wants to sell it. -

Philippe? I thought maxi sports frames were built by cyfac? Bike looks awesome as usual.

Thanks but it doesn't say much about who built the frames and the statement that they rode raleigh frames merely refers to the sponsorship, at least in fignon's case who reportedly rode cyfac built 753 frames with raleigh labels.

A few changes to my Singular
Nitto Bullmoose from @amey, silver post from @spotter , 27mm internal tubeless wheels from Superstar with tyres (and tubeless setup) from @Howard and 170mm XTR cranks from eBay. 32t Surly ring to a 20t Absoluteblack sprocket.
Matching narrow silver spacers and topcap on the way from @mdcc_tester to 'finish it off'. Though XTR pedals would be nice...

Today I added a tooth to the ratchet body (I guess this is what you call it) of a sram 11 speed road shifter. Making it 12 speed.
I also added a 12th cog on my cassette.
11 speed is dead?

XTR pedals would be nice...
M9020 for £80, it would be churlish not to. At least that's the view we came to when we nearly bought 8020 for my dad's bike.

narrow silver spacers and topcap on the way
How big a pile of spacers are you going to need after allowing for the top cap taking up 2mm of the free steerer?
-
• #118490
No idea. I can measure? I was gonna use whatever you sent me and cut the steerer to suit.

tight work. looks better than I ever had it.

I can measure?
If you have a ruler, yes :)
I was gonna use whatever you sent me and cut the steerer to suit
That would work too, but if you don't want to get your hacksaw out we can adjust your pack contents. There are going to be 16mm spacers in addition to the normal sizes.

Current setup of my CDF. Been doing a few miles on this lately. Would really like a full carbon fork and a lighter/better wheelset. Something is wrong with the rear hub, not investigated yet expect it’s the free hub. Shame hope hoops are so damn expensive. Impressed with the voyagers, very smooth, got a pretty big cut tho on the first outing on them the other week.

Is there a chain keeper device out there that fits 28.6 seat tubes, but isn't £££ like the Paul one? Trying to get a 1x8 setup to avoid dropping chains without having to splash out on a new chainset - narrow wide is no use as it's 144bcd.

As in something like this?

Might be a bit too cheap! Would that really work? I guess a shim for a derailleur clamp and a 31.8 chain keeper would work too..
I think trials bikes are the ones to look at for freewheels
