Get some linear BMX cables from eBay.
Comes in multitude of colours, ditch the actual cable and keep the outer
Stolen is my favorite.
TBH compressionless have been around for ages to enable BMX guys to do their tricks without a gyro and not f the cables up. Tried and tested and I used to run it for my polo setup before going hydro.

Also, what are my chances of finding some cable disk brakes that share pads with Avid/SRAM DB5? Avid BB7 (or something) seem likely but I'd prefer something like Spyres or HY/RDs with double piston thingies?
