I've seen some with scuffs /scratches - With Ti can this be polished out as I've no idea

100€ and upwards, unless you find a bargain. The cheapest one I've seen went for 40€. I think they were introduced in 99 so it wouldn't be period correct. Btw: I approve of the choice to go for c-record, that wheelset is amazing, love those low flange hubs with silver rims. Period-incorrectness aside, I think the slightly darker ti post in combination with a ti stem would look amazing against the pearl white paintjob, especially in combination with the lower half of the bike being all shiny silver. It might even get away with a white saddle and bartape but I'll stop here, it's your built mate :)

Thanks for your idea's and thoughts on parts for the build and It's good to receive different ideas and viewpoints and it's what the forum is all about.
The wheelset is very nice and the rims are Lambda Strada with the rim decals almost matching the colour of the frame decals.
White saddle & tape - I'll think on that

Yes to the rims, definitely yes to the rims. But I'm not sure about white tape and saddle. I generally object to white saddles and tape so probably best to not pay attention to me. But do pay attention to me regarding the rims.
