1979 Olmo Grand Prix 56cm Falck tubing Shimano 105 groupset

Another Nice bike for sale. This time an Italian made Olmo Grand Prix from aprox. 1979. Bought it from the first owner, who really cared about the bike. For the past 25 years he had hidden it under a canvas sheet in his attic, because he could not say goodbye to it.

The bike has been fully checked and I tried to keep it original as possible. The only parts that I have replaced are the brake levers, which have been replaced for some NOS shimano one's and the cables and the handlebar tape. Furthermore, the bike is completely original as how it was delivered to the first owner.

The frame itself is build from Italian Falck tubing, and has a lot of neat details. It has many engravings, as you can also see on the photos. I would rate the chrome and paint both 8/10. Frame is almost in a new condition and only has some very small blemishes

The groupset is a reliable Shimano 105 groupset, which still is in a good condition. The wheels consist of Shimano 105 hubs laced to Ambrosio rims. Pedals are not included in the sale.

Size should be perfect for you. I'm 184 cm's which equals more or less 6ft. I always ride 57 (cc) cm frames. I am based in Nijmegen in the Netherlands!
