Dynamo Lights

I'm not running a dyno at the moment so feel free to ignore me.

I've been looking for a way to just mount a rear battery light somewhere other than my seatpost due to saddle bag. Thought about rack mounts but on my frame, they're rivnuts parallel to seatstays, not parallel to the ground so on anyone's frame thats like mine, using that^ would have the light pointing up in the air or slanted down, not horizontal.

Even though you can rotate the mount around the rivnut, or am I misunderstanding?

But since the stays converge together at the seat tube, the rivnuts aren't straight.

Ahh sorry, I see what your saying. Yes, somehow in render it has lost the twist but there would be a left or right mounting version with a subtle twist on. Let me argue with fusion again...

That looks lovely. I'd almost certainly take one but don't have a rack mount on the frame and there's no brake bridge, just some awful 3d printed thing that makes the mudguards clatter. Anything you could recommend? Don't want seat post mount because of saddle bag and won't be running a rack. Quite like @amey 's seat stay mount but have no idea how I'd manage to attach a Supernova light there.

...... so it's very rarely totally straight but is in the right ball park.

Not sure that would work practically. The mudguard mounting points are super super low on the foots cray. Could see that coming loose and taking my rear mech off!

Here you go, I had somehow deleted something in the chain and lost the angle from the extrusion, or something. I still don't really know what I am doing with fusion.

It didn't. Not even close. I'm so far out of my place as to be in a different universe. In fact, it's likely a different time as well. That's how far from being in my place I am right now.

I should never have doubted you

If you hadnt I would have just left up the dodgy render. I get so excited once I have added the surface finishes I can leave all sorts of errors!

Made myself a new mount.

Was gonna later my current one but cracked one of the joints so just did a new one.

Shite metal but I’ll problem buy done stainless and redo it but if @coldharbour can do them for a tenner I don’t see why you’d need anything else.
