A similar extremely apologetic driver drove over my missus' bike at maybe 5mph at the Aldwych/Lion king cycling only lights. She realised it was happening while on the bike and got off and saw her Talbot crushed under the car.
The driver was a nice guy; maybe even a labour remainer but no mistakes are allowed behind the wheel
Reporting him might not result in much but there is a hope that it might result in design change some day, if it was me I'd report it. Plus its about attitude change of drivers than anything.

I don't think it was Uber, had some other kind of logo on the back. He knew he had fucked up and was being given enough grief by everyone else. If they had have been bombing up there to avoid traffic, then all bets would have been off. A condescending glare was enough for me.
