  • I mean I like the sound of that, but it seems the long way round to get there. Plus I'm not really up for drilling. I think either the Di2 under the TT or a wrap around @gillies is right, I think there should be space under the frame pump as the pump contact points are very near the joints and with my Zefal there is a nice amount of room between the pump and TT. Maybe @gillies pictures and my experimentation will help you decide....

  • Ooh, another option would be to run it via downtube and then out the Di2 FD cable hole and up the seattube to the light. It would then be hidden by the mudguard (if I had one).

    DT Di2 entry > Dropout Di2 exit .. simples!
Rear light on drive side seat stay, out of the way from any saddle mounted bag(s).

  • Yeah, I will almost certainly just run it along the top tube and it will end up hidden with a framebag anyway but it's nice to dream of hidden cables :)

  • Yeah, zacchary!

I wonder if the cable is long enough though. I don't think it will be, which means extending it.

  • Mine avoided the bag by mounting it between the stays

  • Where you thinking of mounting the light?

  • Who wore it better? ;)

  • Is it the non-German lens? Got caught out with that years ago, they have weird rules about blinding drivers so the domestic market lights have a weird beam pattern.

  • Dunno yet. Haven't had to attempt it yet so don't know where it will be neatest.

  • Nice, if that works for you but I rock an Adamo so the back end looks like...

  • Mill hole in the back and it is golden! Have you seen my email from last week? (insert 4k goat porn lols here)

  • no internal routing but this by @M_V is how my rear is mounted. Tidy.

  • According to Bikester, it's apparently StVZO approved which I understand be some sort of German traffic law / regulations. Fuck knows, it was cheap and I'm still suspicious :)

  • What's considered the best dynamo light for off-road riding at the moment?

  • How's that attached then?!?

  • I don't know about "best", but when I researched this recently I found four off-road specific lights:

    • Exposure Revo
    • Supernova E3 Triple 2
    • K-Lite Bikepacker Pro
    • Sinewave Beacon (built-in USB charger)
  • Mill hole in the back and it is golden!

I was going to cut that hook off the TT bike's one but I was worried I'd never get the leather of the saddle back to where it should be and I'd be forever towing around a saddle ball bag.

Have you seen my email from last week?

The one I responded to last week?

  • I scream enough obscenities at it that it's too scared to move.

  • Or is it...

  • Not going to be very visible when it looks like this...

  • Indeed...

I think you can mount the supernova rear light to the drive side rack mount bolt.

  • You going full frame bag and bladder for this TCR?

  • I liked the idea of protecting the light rather than having it all 'hang out'. That part of the stays is good for grabbing the bike when it's loaded. It also means swapping sides when I swap countries - symmetry = efficiency aka laziness :)

Also, I'm not sure my rear light has a bolt-on mount. ?
