I have a track bike with no rear brake (so no housing to piggy back on) which I want to run a seatpost mounted secula. Is there any slightly nicer looking way to run the cable across the top tube other than a ziptie? I have a frame pump under the tt so thinking winding it around is going to catch the cabling. Also, does the cable need housing and if so, any suggestions?
I've barber-polled my rear light wire and it doesn't foul the frame pump, can post a pic if needed. Only downside is you need a ziptie at each end to keep the tension otherwise it looks shit/will snag.
Di2 routing is probably easier, but equally might foul a frame pump under the TT.
Since the Tripster doesn't have the toptube cutouts, I was thinking about this problem recently.
What about running it via downtube, up seattube and then out the seatpost somehow (either open top under saddle or with hole drilled below clamp but above frame, ie. in the frame slot?
