Immediately after turning right the Q1 road markings appear again. If you follow the left turn as directed there is absolutely nothing.

The real problem at Waterloo bridge is the entrance/exit - the bridge itself is fairly civilised.
The south end has some crap proposals that'll keep it nice and dangerous (mostly by retaining the pinch points where the road drops to the current roundabout), and the North end will remain congested with buses - it's one of the few places where when a painted cycle lane (between the lanes) would really help as it's impossible to filter through at present so people take all sorts of bizarre risks.

It's always had one of those, though it's just been widened and a right filter lane removed. From recent experience it doesn't help much more, especially at rush hour.
Ideally, the north end would have the link to the Strand as buses only with a cycle track on the left with private vehicles being forced down into the underpass.

Not a super highway but some new cycling infrastructure, although what the attached pdf shows isn't exactly what they have done, the bit where is shows the cycle path spitting you out into the bus lane is a little short so it spits you out on the corner into the traffic, why they could have the cycle path going a little further round and then dropping you into the bus lane only they will no.

That must be new, surely? I've never been able to safely filter at that junction - it's always blocked by buses and mopeds.
Good to know they've made the minimum possible effort, anyway. How nearly adequate. I applaud their limited ambition with one hand.

They say 75% will be largely segregated, meaning 25% won't. And announcement is only for cash to design them. No commitment or plan to build them. I hope that does eventually happen, and that they're of high quality, and that it happens soon. We'll see.

Tottenham Hale to Camden is the one that interests me here as that's my commute.
At the moment it's basically A roads, mainly with bus lanes, all the way (basically Seven Sisters Rd followed by Camden Rd). I have a strong suspicion that this won't be the route that the cycle route takes, probably on the basis that it will slow down the busses. We shall see.

Stupid waste of time. Not a particularly dangerous set of roundabouts anyway imo. Especially at rush hour when everything is crawling. Taken an age to actually do as well. I won't be using it which will probably be all the excuse some cockwomble needs to run me over.

Sounds like it will be another 5 years at least until these are built http://www.mayorwatch.co.uk/2023-target-for-sadiq-khans-new-cycle-routes-branded-disappointing-by-assembly-members/ (and we've seen with CS11 what can happen with what appears to be a fully designed and approved cycleway when a new mayor comes in).

Sorry this is probably not the best thread for it, so I will keep this short and if anyone could point in the right direciton of the correct people on this forum, it would be much apperciated.
I had an very unpleasent experience last night related to the safe use of the clear greenhouse looking bike sheds TfL provides for businesses. The police has been informed but they are not sure if TfL should be too. My employer is keen to get this looked into further but the difficulty is that the land where the bike sheds are is partly privately owned and partly owned by TfL, anything to be done also concerns the local residents who live right next to it.

It's a grey area, the bike sheds had to be reloated to the current location because where it used to be (right outside the main entrance of our building) no logner belongs to us due to the redevelopment of Elepahnt and Castle, TfL claimed that bit of land back so we had to relocate the bike sheds to the back of our car park. Even with the current location, as I have said, where the sheds sit, the land is partly owned by us and partly owned by TfL. We tried to put some nicer pavement slabs around it, but it stops halfway through becauase that's where the line draws. I was told by the building management that they tried to put some gates or other defense around the sheds, but also wasn't allowed to do so due to the ownership issue.
There isn't anywhere to put the asheds other than putting them back to where they were, but then the land belongs to TfL, so I guess the short answer to yuor question is that, yes it is something that TfL could possibly address, but I am not 100%...

The thrust of my question was more whether you think there's a design or a placement issue.
I've had a look on StreetView at the location I think you're talking about , and I can see there may be problems with the placement. As I don't know what the issue was, there's not much I can say without more info, though.
It’s kinda one long route, in theory.
