I need a new 30-40l rucksack anyway for a trip to Everest Base Camp in October. And I had to bring my bike tools, jacket and helmet for the ride home, a change of clothes for the day and my lunch so I'd like it to be a decent size for that sort of stuff.
It does have chest/waist straps but it just doesn't fit me basically, it was either too loose on the upper body, too tight over the shoulders or too tight on my collarbones. Kept adjusting it but I was just uncomfortable in a different way each time.
Edit: also I'm considering signing up for a mountain marathon later in the year so I'm after something that could take a tent, sleeping bag, couple of spare layers and a bit of food.
^^ I have this on my wishlist to have a crack at putting together some kind of lightweight fastpacking kit for doing a day or two on the trails once I get back into shape (current eta: never).
