1992 Kona Lava Dome, drop bars, mudguards, frame bag : £250

Early 90's Kona Lava Dome ('92 I think).

• Drop bar conversion with Nitto Randonneurs and a swan neck stem to bring the bars right up to where they should be on a drop bar MTB.
  
• Tektro cantis.
  
• Mostly an LX 7-speed groupset, currently running friction on 8-speed bar end shifters. Fresh chain and cassette 1000km old.
  
• Included is both a pair of knobblies (Schwalbe Smart Sam, currently fitted) and slicks (Schwalbe Big Apple).
  
• Full-length SKD mudguards.
  
• Custom Alpkit frame bag, designed for a camelbak reservoir.
  
• DMR V12 or Shimano SPDs.

There was a bit of rust on the fork so I stripped it back, sanded it down and it's been given a quick coat of Hammerite. Paint on the frame isn't perfect and there's a bit of wear from the framebag.

20" as measured by Kona (geometry available here). I'm 185cm and the drop bar setup is comfortably short and relaxed in the drops. It makes for a great commuter or off-road tourer.
