Bicycle manufacturers by country

Hi guys,

I was thinking about building country themed bikes and want to know what's possible.
Therefore I am looking for a list with classic and modern bicycle frame / part manufacturers outside of Europe. Wikipedia and classicrendezvouz are no help.

I’m pretty sure you could build a complete Russian bike from the 80s. Components manufacturers outside of Europe might be super easy/super tough depending on if you accept Japanese parts.

There were quiet a few Polish frame builders: Rychtarski, Orlowski, Osca (not Polish I know). There were Polish brands making components as well like Pam’s or Romet. Tho a quick geography reminder: Poland is in Europe actually!

In the 80s there were quiet a few respectable American companies/builders: Serotta, Schwinn, their “Paramounts”.

The only component manufacturer that comes to mind and is outside of Europe is Sram

So much cross-over, I think your mission is neigh on impossible.

Moss bikes built up one of his bespoke reynolds frame with as many British mnufctured parts as possible, at a recent bespoked show.
It had quite a few hope components and use enginnering finishing kit and Middleburn cranks. Obviously a brooks saddle.
Tyres and chains will be struggling point as far as I can tell.

A south America (esp argentina)build would be very interesting. They somehow insulated themselves from the invasion of far eastern components until the late 80s.
There were lots of strange low end parts about (usually bad copies of Italian and British stuff), but pretty rare and hard to find now.
