Yeah. If you're at your limit in your lowest gear and you hit a bit of a headwind you're screwed. I ride around on 50/34 and 11-32. 11-36 for touring. #weakling

Last year I rode 50-36:11-28 and dropped the chain at really unfortunate moments. 11-28 was the absolute limit for me on the steepest slopes and it was dry
