• £65 maybe, getting rid of just the levers might be more difficult. They're an amazing combo tho

  • Ah that's a bit much for me right now

  • Open to negotiation

  • Napkin maths is putting it at £650 for some kind of full build. I need to check what I have in the way of cranksets and saddles. Figure subject to change

  • Ok, to much for me, don't waste your time on the maths any further, lovely looking bike.

  • Ah the Ziggs! GLWS

  • This. is . Bargain-town

  • How much for the bars, please?

  • £40 posted

  • Cheers, but I doubt you'd go as low as I need! GLWS

  • Out of interest what are the mudguards? I'm looking for something that'd fit 650bx47 and they look good. The whole bike is amazing.

  • They're 26" x 60mm. I'd hazard at yes, but I couldn't tell you for sure, not having any wheels to test in them. You could probably roll them (using a cricket ball or similar) to increase the radius and decrease the width.

That said, it's almost certainly not worth doing so, because they're drilled for this bike and new ones wouldn't be much more pricey

  • Makes sense, thanks for the info! And GLWS!

  • Didn't see the edit. They're Gilles Berthoud that I've etch primered and painted black. They come in 650b X 50 and 60mm flavours too. The paint's holding up okay, a few chips

  • Sorry about the stealth edit and thanks for the further info - will add those on my list.

  • more build inspiration, yeah?

Still have those carbon levers, too

  • How much would you be selling the levers for? Sorry to see this go, but excited to see what will replace it

  • Were those cantilever brakes when you had the drop bars on?
So much inspiration . Good luck with the sale.

  • £40 plus post. They're a bit scuffed.

@roirizla yeah, CR720s. They started off great, but at some point I displeased the canti god and I could never get rid of the front judder after that

  • I'd be surprised if you didn't get fork judder with such a long straddle cable on steel forks and no brake booster. Its a trifecta of judder. I'm sure the brakes themselves are fine.

  • For sure, but they started off just fine, is the weird thing. Couldn't fit a crown mounted hanger unfortunately

  • Just on the off chance, I'll take those cranks if they come up please :)

  • My most lustworthy bike part I think. Along with the Wald...

  • As I said off chance, the new version has awful graphics
