On looking them up they look to be able to clear up to a 2.5 - definitely the clearance, then. Beyond that, are they the ones you’s would recommend?

I need some killer brakes because the current ones feel like they’re made of cheese. I do have some new Deore ones to put on for now, though

they're wicked, yeah, but make sure you get them in fluoro green or orange.

alternative would be the old skool xtr parallel push, they're certainly not lacking in power
