I'm currently doing the 8wk couch to 5k, and am crippling myself every other day with aching calves and achilles. I'm not even running that fast.
Hoping my lower legs get used to it and I'm able to run ache free. Then will augment the commute with the running twice a week or so, and swimming once a week. I'll pretty much be a triathlete, but with sleeves..
Lace up the running shoes and run instead.
