Just heard about a company reshuffle, which may mean commute will drop from 15miles to 7miles. Might have to do laps round richmond park every couple of days to keep the mileage up..
Commuting isn't training, just enjoy the ride for what it is. If you want to do some longer rides just pick a weekday evening, grab a train to the other side of the M25 and have a bit of a spin. I can recommend Thursdays as good days for this, possibly from about the end of March onward.
And I’ve never thought of commuting as training, but the length of the commute means I keep the weight off just by doing it four times a week. I’m 120 miles ahead of the mileage game, just by travelling to work, which I’d have to do anyway..
