• Just heard about a company reshuffle, which may mean commute will drop from 15miles to 7miles. Might have to do laps round richmond park every couple of days to keep the mileage up..

  • Commuting isn't training, just enjoy the ride for what it is. If you want to do some longer rides just pick a weekday evening, grab a train to the other side of the M25 and have a bit of a spin. I can recommend Thursdays as good days for this, possibly from about the end of March onward.

  • Would love to do that, but with baby on the way, long rides on weeknights, and/or weekends are probably a thing of the past..

  • And I’ve never thought of commuting as training, but the length of the commute means I keep the weight off just by doing it four times a week. I’m 120 miles ahead of the mileage game, just by travelling to work, which I’d have to do anyway..

  • If I didn't commute I'd do no other meaningful exercise and would be considerably fat(ter). That is why I'm currently considerably fatter.

Also - anyone know a good physio in SE London (preferably more S than E)?
