Hope the knee mends soon.
Thanks, It's been fine this week so hopefully just something being tired rather than broken.
Gorilla Tape ftw!
Aparrently the marshalls at CP2 had tried to tape it up but it hadn't worked.
I don't understand ultra runners
Not sure I do really, but finishing this left me buzzing for a couple of days. Never had that from a HM. The pain was never too bad, just a constant drain on mental energy. Probably why I felt so good once it stopped hurting.
@kl - That sounds grim. I tuck the hose from my bladder under my arm which helps keep it warm and stops it bobbing about.
@everyone else - thanks for the kind words! Having a rest this week, itching to get out for a run but would rather wait a few more days to let everything rest/recover properly first.

It was great! A bright, sunny winter's day, as long as you were running you didn't feel the cold. Mind you, that's only if you were fast enough and didn't end up sleeping in a car in a blizzard with brutalised legs! Still, at least the survivors had a proper story to tell afterwards...
Chapeau, nice write up too. Hope the knee mends soon.
