  • @Velocio

But perhaps it's best not to ban him until you get your money back? Maybe he's been in a coma for two weeks and he feels terrible and will do everything he can to make this right or maybe he's bad trader and will try to argue his case here in a way that could be helpful to proving to whomever that he owes you the money.

  • i've pretty much given up hope at this point. in addition, i've even tried to reach out to forum members that have dealt with him in the past and may be able to get in contact. nothing has worked.

he sent a picture of his (alleged) drivers license if someone wants to check up on him at his address? i'm in NYC or i would have a week ago.

  • If he's sent you a picture of his driving license I say dob him in to the police. Not sure they'll be able to do anything about it but you never know. In fact if you send a message to him the simple threat of the police might be enough to get your money back.

  • Have your bank been able to reverse the transaction?

  • On one hand, sending a pic of your licence doesn't sound much like the actions of someone trying to scam you, it doesn't look like he's been active since. On the other even if something terrible had happened and he's been totally pre-occupied, you'd think he could drop you a quick line to let you know.

Is it possible to search for a phone number from the address on his licence, could give him a call? or good old facebook stalk? With his full name etc surely it shouldn't be hard to find him, not that you should have too.
