Now that you've had it a while how are you finding it, I'm thinking of maybe getting one

Just saw the above about the Mash work now wondering if I should hold out for one of them rather than the tutto
-
• #4130
Just heard from someone from Mash that they don’t have any U.K. distributors for the new bike until the fall.
Update: Totally wrong on my part, you will be able to order it directly from them looks like it will be about $850 for the frame and $90 delivery

I’m still enjoying mine as fixed.
Tomorrow I’m installing double brakes and putting freewheel on.
Will post an update once ridden for a bit with new setup.
Might even but big tyres on and take it to Epping.

Yeah I’m contemplating whether I should wait for the new mash work out in March or get the tutto. I would definitely put some big tyres on it. Does it have to take Canti brakes or could you put a Cali per brake on it?

Both, photo look like there’s a canti mount on it.
MASH one likely to be expensive compare to Cinelli, and I don’t know if they have a distributor to allow us to be able to warrant the frames, less likely to be discounted too.
In the end, let see if they have changed their geometry, which is the biggest limiting factor.

That will work out to be a very expensive frame, after being hit for import taxes.
-

This.
Need distro, as frame coming from Taiwan, no reason why not.
-
• #4136
After speaking to them it sounds like it will be $850 plus $90 shipping so I guess they would handle import taxes maybe
-
• #4137
What was up with the geo on the last work frame?
-
• #4138
If you've got to order from them directly in the US I think that unlikely. I'd get it in writing before ordering, otherwise you could end up with a £150+ tax bill.
In other news, just checked the £ to $, it's looking better, do we have Trump to thank for that....

Ahh good to know, maybe I will ask someone once the details are a bit more firmed up

They had pretty short front ends. The XXL only had a 150mm head tube. Also 56cm seat tube with 60cm top tube seems odd.
I’m not sure what the stack and reach measurements are though.

dunno if i post my bike here before

I’m guessing the new tutto has a different geo right? I’m still very tempted by the mash work
-

Have a look. At a glance stack and reach look exactly the same..

Wow, the reach is huge on the work frames. I’ve never understood their geometry choice. Who wants to ride a really long and low frame for “work”?
-
• #4145
Surly innit
-
• #4146
Cheers for that! Good to know they have kept the same geo on both makes it a bit easier to decide
-
• #4147
What gear ratio was the setup that you received? I ordered mine by wondering if should get another cog to switch out when it comes.
-
• #4148
I received frame and fork only.
Build it up 47x17 as most of my bikes.

Installed brakes today.
So much purple going on but liking it very much.
Missing a freewheel at the moment so running fixed with 2 functional brakes = safety over 9000.

Would be nice to see mud guard mounts/eyelets on the new work frame.
