Very useful, thanks. I'll try and come along to do the course. I've painted a few frames, but I'm very much self-taught and it would be good to learn how to do it properly.

Is the course exclusively for frame builders? Or can anyone come providing you arrive with a naked frame? Would be interested in learning to paint properly.

Without aiming to sound aloof, our preference is for framebuilders simply because we know (or at least we hope) there's a shared understanding of the processes involved; some overlap on terms and techniques; a familiarity with specific tools, how a workshop works and an understanding of how the bike is assembled and the way that can alter and affect the processes.
BUT
We will (and have) take(n) on individuals who are able to provide a raw frameset once we've sounded each other out to some extent. Drop us an email via the website and we can talk you through it.
