I've used up to I guess 600k tracks without issue. The problem is if you do have a freeze, or turn it off, etc., a 600k takes an age to load so I typically cut my tracks up into 2-300k chunks.
I've had TBT nav just stop sometimes (probably a track error) so I restart the track - if it's 600k that takes a while compared to 200k.

800 on loan currently. I've never used routing before. Probably going run two borrowed 800s - one charging, one active... although no idea how long one takes to charge.
