MS was a, short-lived, tubeset so perhaps that's what it is: every tube was a different shape.
That would explain why there's no "Roberts" in the BB shell, nor an "R" in the fork crown as he wouldn't have been able to use his usual shell and crown.

Ah, that's the actual name of the tubing, cool. I just thought it was a descriptor of the tube shapes. Seller should've used capital letters!

Maybe he was just describing the shape of the tubes.
I suggested it could be MS because (apart from Air, which this clearly isn't) that's the only other non-round tubing I know of that isn't Max.
