Well, it was a pretty blatant dive. The Paddy Power take on it was pretty accurate https://twitter.com/paddypower/status/960210262556069890
The more I've seen him live (going to actual games rather than watching on tv so you see off the ball as well) the bigger twat he's looked. Always in the referee's ear, leaves his foot, unnecessarily getting involved in everything always the first to start shoving the opposition players, and of course hurling himself to the ground if anyone goes near him.
I'm not denying he's a good player and he's a lot bigger and stronger than you'd expect but he'd be getting sent off a lot more if he wasn't the current golden boy.
Both penalties were soft. Debate about the Kane one and whether he was offside or not made me wonder how loud the shouts for VAR will be and then how soon regret will appear once every contentious decision is given over to the cameras.
Anyway nice to see that both @aggi and @mikec sticking to their set in stone dislike of Dele, who has started to regain some of the form of last season.
Dier’s error put us into scramble mode from the offset, but we hauled ourselves back into it and made enough chances 2nd half to have not required wanyama’s wonder strike to get us level.
Overall happy with a result in a game we could have so easily lost.
Really hoping that arsenal haven’t regained their mojo after battering Everton. Should be a good game on Saturday, but just the small matter of getting past Newport on Wednesday. Start for Moura?
