  • Haha, nice!

  • Remove the bridge is brillant, nice color too, where did you get the stickers ??

  • After a Brooklyn disc fork/canti fork for my v1 gangsta
(starts searching for needle in haystack)

  • Get a custom?

  • There was a couple people making customs I nearly got one a while ago as it worked out cheaper to get a full custom same as the BMW one with a disc mount than trying to find a V1 fork and getting the mount added on.

If you find someone to make them I'd maybe interested in getting one for mine as I missed them last time.

  • Home made bar-ends BMW inspired, had engraved my initials on them, kinda custom

Just need to polish the outside for the finish

  • Yo I've been off the radar sorry I do still want them can you on me PayPal details and I'll fire over the money

  • @Wadi2 The one I got is a Talbot Frameworks fork. Not sure how often Matt makes them. It's a disc fork with mudguard mount in the V1 style.

  • Can I be so rude as to ask what a custom fork from the likes of Talbot costs?

I’ve fancied getting a custom fork for the Humnus but I’ve no idea if it’s a realistic thing to be looking at.

  • Hartley quoted me £600 for a fancy stainless fork for discs mounts galore and a wavy bridge.

  • sure someone could do it alot cheaper.

  • orlowski/rychtarski are about 200 EUR I think

  • Can't remember who posted the £295 Shinburgers, but I raise you, the £531 version.

  • Were talbots around £200 ish?

  • What about Super Ted? I'm sure he's made one before.

  • A completely different style but I got some Columbus Max forks custom made by Rychtraski for about £190 posted. They also offer cheaper options with different tubing. I believe Orlowski are around the same price. I'm really happy with the forks as well!

  • Yeah the Talbot was 200 when I got one, a couple of years ago.

  • That's not too bad then.

  • Thanks for the input. Is it a crime to have a disc mount welded to my v1 fork? Paint is in a terrible state anyway

  • Do it. Sure joe wouldn’t mind

  • Just as an FYI before anyone gets excited it is now £600, as they are such a ball ache and I hate building forks ;)

  • I placed an order with Mr Orlowski for a pair of forks a couple of weeks ago. Came to 140 euros. He can only do disc forks in 853 at the moment though which is considerably more.

  • Gangstacross incoming
