The trick is I need to make a shitload in a short space of time. I have a big thermos to fill along with a big travel cup.
V60 seems to be the best method for me and I’d rather avoid buying another bit of kit, I just get annoyed at using 2-3 filters in the morning by the time Liz has made hers too.Not fussed about the best quality cup as I use cheap French supermarche beans during the week.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone, will try the Kinto and report back.

If you don't care whether or not it tastes especially nice why not buy one of those automatic drip filter thingies for a fiver from a charity shop (or just get a new one if you don't care about the money)? As a bonus you can dump the coffee in there the night before and it'll be ready in the morning, taking even less time than the V60. And they often come with a reusable plastic filter.
Just get a bialetti stovetop or similar from TK Maxx I use mine every morning. I actually gave away my Gaggia as it was a massive pain in the arse and didn't make better coffee. If I want a long coffee just add a splash of hot water then the milk.
