I just finished building this two weeks ago. Both hydraulic disc bakes and Force 1 were a first for me.
The brakes performed briljantly so far. Way better than the cantilever brakes and mechanical disc brakes I used so far.
Sram Force 1 was not so great unfortunately. On both races on muddy courses I did so far the chain filled up with mud (obviously) which resulted the chain to come off the teeth and drop. I wasn't able to finish either race. Could this be because I am running a KMC X11 EL chain instead of a SRAM chain? Or do I need to get a chain guide?

How do you treat your chain? Just lube?
I wax mine, and it kept it relatively clean in pretty muddy conditions on my recent trip to Germany.

There is no evidence that Albert Einstein ever said or wrote anything of that nature..

Pretty sure it was something Oscar Wilde said to Mark Twain, or vice versa.

removed DA from Basso, overhauled brakes, headset, BB, Chain set + R Derailleur. Need to get clamp on 7402 FD, clean chain, sprockets, both wheels + true, fit cables.
Anyone wanna trade seatposts?

Wrong, was Maya Angelou’s dying words. But she was actually quoting Dorothy Parker.

I hate the bar tape and the saddle needs sorting but I'm otherwise pretty happy with this

if I have one of these milled down from 27.2 to 27.0
27.0 inline seat posts can be bought ready made, why go to the trouble, expense and potential risk? If you must break out the lathe, don't go below 2.5mm wall thickness unless you really know what you're doing.
It didnt need fixing. But thanks.
