  • Thanks that's good to hear.

I don't have a battery in it yet so I've not had a chance to calibrate.
I found an excellent user guide and whilst eye control seems like pure sorcery there are plenty 0f people that'll vouch for it.

It was mostly for fun/curiosity that I got it, a cheap (£10) ebay job lot with a minolta x-9 and zoom lens, I plan to give my daughter the X-9 but it looks like the shutter capacitor needs replacing, hopefully the eos will be fine, seems like a good sturdy camera!

  • Great find! I have an EOS 30 and it has three stored eye control profiles. I use one for with glasses and one for without.

  • Any recommendations for photographers doing landscape photography with medium format in colour ?
Plenty of inspiration for B&W (Fay Godwin, Michael Kenna, Paul Hart etc etc) but haven’t come across someone doing similar in colour

  • Really lucky to get my hands on a Leica M3, so much fun so far..! Here's some pics from my first roll :

Still learning the basics as most of them was underexpose..

  • Great stuff from the last few pages, always a joy to come here!

  • Fuck sake. 3 Dif films and 3 shit batches of scans... Going to try Eyeculture.

  • That last one is mint.

  • As is second actually.

  • First is decent too to be fair.

  • @Lychee They look fine to me, like those. I always end up aiming to over-expose as it's easily recoverable in post, the opposite to digital where you tend to under-expose.

@chrisbmx116 I've had a few scans come back flat like that (including stuff from filmdev). Not usually a problem as I'll normally always tweak white/black points and contrast in Lightroom

  • @mi7rennie - what's going on in that last one?

  • Keeps getting better. This thread is on a roll the last couple of weeks. Love that second one @Lychee

  • roundabout!
    (great setup for a photo)

  • Yeah @moocher, it's 30 seconds exposure as my daughter pushed me around on the roundabout.

  • 2nd one is truly fabulous

  • Great page so far, nice work everyone!

@Rik_Van_Looy - "Vege Burgers" - where is that?
@Lychee - nice, have fun! Second one is a nice shot..
@chrisbmx116 - weird.. couldn't say what is happening there. Have you confronted them about the issue?
@mi7rennie ..your Rollei went snowboarding? Nice!
@rawmeat ..nice Fuji colours again, also like the first shot!
@mi7rennie - can't help but think those pinholes would benefit from a "modern" film (Delta / T-Max)
@Rik_Van_Looy ..that last one is also nice.. next time try to get the guy on the other side to wave
    : ]

  • I'll need to try some Delta. Got some PanF to stick through it.

  • Cheers, vege-burgers is on the seafront at Hastings.
I'd not spotted the boatman in the river-pic, those boats are becoming a recurring theme for me.
