Which zone are you in? Unfortunately you need them for the right zone as well.
I'm in E5, zone N, we have a book of 2 hour ones. You'd be welcome to a few if you also happened to be zone N. I doubt very much that whoever fixes it will actually stay a whole day!

I've just checked Ringo, who do cashless parking, and Hackney is included so you could get required parking authorisation that way. It might be what they are saying takes 4 days but I'm sure you should be able to find some off-street or visitor one nearby and use mobile payments.

Need a one day parking permit as our boiler has broken down.
Takes 4 working days ordering online and apparently that's the only way to get them now.
Does anyone have one spare? Will give cash/donation to anyone that could oblige.
