  • I'm always running low on space on my work computer C: drive. Can I, in theory, partition off part of my D drive and use W10 'storage spaces' to expand the space on C, or is this a really bad idea?

I know some things might run a bit slower as they'll be reading off the D: drive rather than the SSD C:

  • You can easily change the location of all your Documents, Music, Pictures etc. There's no practical benefit in having those on the SSD. Just right-click on the folders, go to properties and then the location tab.

  • All that stuff's on D, most files stored on the network anyway. C's just chocka with software.

Edit, nevermind, I clawed back 20Gb, that'll do for now.
