Polygon

I'm always running low on space on my work computer C: drive. Can I, in theory, partition off part of my D drive and use W10 'storage spaces' to expand the space on C, or is this a really bad idea?

I know some things might run a bit slower as they'll be reading off the D: drive rather than the SSD C:

You can easily change the location of all your Documents, Music, Pictures etc. There's no practical benefit in having those on the SSD. Just right-click on the folders, go to properties and then the location tab.

All that stuff's on D, most files stored on the network anyway. C's just chocka with software.

Edit, nevermind, I clawed back 20Gb, that'll do for now.
