After speaking to them it sounds like it will be $850 plus $90 shipping so I guess they would handle import taxes maybe

If you've got to order from them directly in the US I think that unlikely. I'd get it in writing before ordering, otherwise you could end up with a £150+ tax bill.

In other news, just checked the £ to $, it's looking better, do we have Trump to thank for that....
