Is there a difference between this and the very similar looking lugless MAX frame I paid 1/10th of the price for? Other than the brand name sticker. The builder? Genuine question, not trolling.

Adrie van der poel was a previous owner it says on the frame. People pay premium for that (and the brand name of course).
Value is hard to rationalize.

Pegoretti made this frame, I think he was the king Columbus Max builder. I'm not sure if he built the frames in the factory's of each contractor under his supervision, or by his own hand. Or maybe he built them in his own workshop. Frame craftsmanship/performance/geometry would probably be the main difference, then paint obv.
Not sure on the difference between lugless & lugged frames.
