The Croix de fer can take that big a tyres, abet latest one.

I did like my old one, it’s not fast, but it’s not a slouch unless you treat it like a road race bike.

Gearing is on point and the praxis look great - but the Samox 2-piece on the Arkose X is just a lot better looking and I can't imagine it being more expensive when you buy bulk.

I've the SS Samox crank. Weights a tonne, looks shit, Q factor too wide. First thing I replaced on my Arkose

I’d go for the FSA over Samox, the latter are very cheap chainset.
