  • Interesting. I wouldn't have guessed that . I sit in meetings and see the same Sub Rolesor on half a dozen wrists (including mine) so just assumed it was the most popular model.

    What does this mean? A Datejust? Or all Oyster cases?

    IME the sub is the one you seem to remember on peoples wrist because they're all the same* whereas there are so many variations of the oyster range that make them different - dial colour, bezels, numerals etc.

    For me pics of the Daytona leaves me cold whereas in the flesh it looks decent. That said it maybe my subconscious being impressed. I remember meeting an ex-pat from Dubai who looked like he'd been rolled through GQ's insta feed and it he pulled it off nicely with a grey suit.
