I like to support small family run businesses where possible, but fair enough.
Anyway, my point of view on whether grey market watches are worth it is YES but only if you can afford to pay for a repair in the unlikely event that you need one. And in all likelihood, a repair to a mid level watch like a Rolex or Omega will cost more than the savings you make with a grey market dealer.

Actually, a thought did just cross my mind.
I have used the same guy to service and repair Rolexes for ten odd years. He is Rolex approved. I have only ever taken vintage watches to him.
If I had a defective 18 month old submariner without paperwork, would he work on it? My gut feeling is probably...although obviously at my expense.
