I have used the same guy to service and repair Rolexes for ten odd years. He is Rolex approved. I have only ever taken vintage watches to him.
If I had a defective 18 month old submariner without paperwork, would he work on it? My gut feeling is probably...although obviously at my expense.
Of course he would. But if you are paying him, you may as well pay Rolex.
