Second day on a new rat bike,first single speed I've owned. Puncture at finsbury park on the way home. Realised I didn't have my pump. Remembered I had some air cartridges. Fixed puncture. Tried to inflate with first cartridge. No luck. Fixed puncture again. Second cartridge didn't inflate. Road home on a flat. (Thanks to the guy at manor house lights who lent me his pump as a last attempt).
Turns out the sidewall is ripped. Only took two tubes to find as well.
7/10, will ride single speed again (with a proper pump. Cartridges can go fuck themselves).
