• Stack seems to be about 25mm less than a Croix de Fer with equivalentish reach. It's a bit lower but not that lower. Either way, it's got rack mounts front and rear, which makes it a touring bike in my book.

    Depends what you mean by touring bike though. If your idea of a touring bike is something you can strap the entire contents of your house to, then it might not be ideal.

  • Well, carbon's out of my budget anyway, but with full camping gear, spare parts and clothes for a week you easily surpass bikepacking bag capacity I think. In which case you need full-blown racks.

    Might go with a bivvy bag and tarp next time I go touring, would save me a couple of kilos probably.
