26×2.2 (56-599) tyre on a 700c wheel?
Assuming you mean 559, but either way, your tyre's bead will be closer to the hub than your rim.

If you can even get it over the rim you must have arms like the incredible hulk; a 700C wheel has a 622 bead seat diameter...
(No, it wouldn't be safe)

I think the answer is no but to be sure....can I safely run a 26×2.2 (56-599) tyre on a 700c wheel? The wheels have Architype rims.
