Do you not just pay for the packing service with the removal co ?
Go to work, leave them to it...house packed
Move the next day....unpack and call the Co to pickup their boxes when finished

Nothing will be packed to the exacting standards set by Mrs Heck. So far i've packed one box, it contains some of my clothes and some shoes.

That’s who we used for our door, needed a bit of aftersales when the gearbox broke. They were a bit shit at sorting it out. It’s now sorted and the actual door is excellent.

In that case convert the spare bedrooms into His 'n Hers walk in wardrobes and an office. That'll annoy parents who think you are moving to setup a family and any friends that have kids and are living in a house of plastic toys (or wooden brio if they're aspiring middle classes)

rumpus room, obvs.

Composite doors have multiple locking points. You lift the handle and the gearbox drives three to five bolts into the frame. You turn the locking cylinder to lock. Our gearbox (Yale) broke.

Low maintanence, looks like wood, doesn’t warp, strong and secure.
Just over a grand, fitted.
Measure to fit is about a month.

There are two decent door shops in Penge. The one further up the hill charges higher prices, the one down the hill did a great job replacing our front door.

We're in a similar boat. Offer accepted mid October, and no exchange in sight. For us it was bullshit from the banks meaning that mortgage has taken forever to come through. Only just getting around to getting the survey done. Long

Speaking of doors and gears.
My double glazed patio doors/some widows are no longer locking consistently well.
Door replacement time?
Can the mechanics be tinkered with? -
• #21974
It can be due to the hinges going out of alignment, so the doors aren't square to each other anymore. That can foul the multi point locks and pins.

We want to buy a 1 bed in streatham (we think streatham). Any locals / ex-locals any specifics to avoid?
Why does it need to be custom?
Are you painting it grey?
