I keep wanting to do this but every time i do I have another crash where I land on my backpack.
After the latest accident I didn't have a scratch on me. Backpack is full of holes. That said it could have been the backpack that punched my clavicle into 4 bits... Hmmmmm..

I tend to land on my face so should be fine.
I ride fixed on a relatively light steel track frame and was worried the bag would fudge the handling. TBH i barely noticed it but the benefits of no backpack/raised stem we're massive for commuting comfort.
This has got #shitfixieskidderssay all over it

New found comfort on this morning's commute, backpack replaced with handlebar bag, stem raised 10mm to cope, considering wider tyres, is this the beginning of the end?
