How realistic/important is it to get a watch from late 50's/early 60's with box and papers? I always here talk of it being a nice thing to have with a vintage watches for value/originality but how realistic is it to expect them?
Not very. Even less likely to have legit ones. Might sound obvious, but you can't wear a box or papers either.
All that said, if you've got the choice then at worse it will always make the watch easier to sell and will usually increase value.
