Glued the tub onto the Zipp rear last night and I should have spotted the warning sign. The valve was hissing when I pumped it up off the rim to get a bit of shape into it, but I ignored that and stuck it on.
Went down overnight, obviously, so that's a bit of a pisser. I suspect it was a poorly installed valve extender/core. I'm going to rip it off and re-glue tomorrow.
