The GMC vindictively going after a Dr, who although she made a mistake, did so in the context of horrific system failings (she was let down by people making decisions behind her back, doing the job of three doctors and one day back from maternity leave).
A lot of very scary implications for Drs, and literally no-one has benefitted in this case. She’s also a Muslim lady, so there’s been some truly awful reporting about the case in the gutter press.
