Hahaha. Fuck. But if its 650 for 2 rooms thats cheap...if its for one I guess thats a normal price by now. And Chris,Antonio&Jah are maybe the reason Adlershof is preferable to Kreuzberg. In general a lot of the newer inhabitants of Neukölln come across like Idiots. But then to a lot of people I am probably one of them.
The FB group called Berlin Apartments is full of arty people subletting their flats all the time.Adlershof is good because it has the sBahn and very fast access to good riding. Kiefholzstrasse I mentioned is going through there.
Friend of mine just moved to Oberschöneweide, he likes it and says the locals are way friendlier than they look.
We don't have real problem areas (unless you believe the arab family clans and no go areas bullshit) but shitty we have. Some further out parts of Neukölln and Wedding, Lichtenberg and Reinickendorf are just bleak. And Marzahn and Gropiusstadt are a bit special with their high rises.
I quite like Wilmersdorf. Rather posh but also pretty normal parts. And of course Schöneberg. There is something like a curved corridor under the spree from Charlottenburg all the way to Treptow thats good in my opinion. I also prefer the south to the north. So basically former west where not almost everything from before 90 is gone by now.
And realistically I would take anything that suits your needs and is affordable and not actually in Brandenburg. We get about 40000 new Berliners every year and only 4000 apartments get built...
Guess its clear by now that I like the city and talking about it.
Fuck me. I hate flathunting at the best of times but this is unbearable.
