I’m going to make some DISC BRAKES ARE DEAD stickers if anyone would like one.

There's a velodrome in Le Parc first one built in 1894,
banking 43°.
Earliest Triathlon started from the stairs of the Tony Garnier monument on one of the islands,
he was a precursor in the use of reinforced concrete.
Have a good trip. -

I am on the island now. Can't find the monkey
-

It was in the flamingo pond-a tiny island that was home to a very sad looking monkey that would stand forlornly looking outwards holding a half eaten banana... maybe it's escaped by now. i hope so...

The whole park was a bit sad actually

Saw the velodrome, but we were not allowed to go in and have a look around.

Just a reminder that I’m taking payments for the official DBAD stickers now.
Check the first post in the thread for details (especially if you’re already on the list).
Should be posting them out on Thursday. -

I had a test ride with @spotter Sunday and everything felt good. A few things needed tweaking.
I cut the steerer last night and fitted some better brake pads and got a Paul Funky Monky on there which has meant 20mm lower front. I still need to keep one space there to allow the brake cable to enter hanger.
ONLY thing I would like change is placement of rear wheel. The Bear Frame Supplies dropout prototypes haven't got enough length to allow the rear wheel to travel. This will mean no changes between 19T and 21T sprocket at races unless I install a half link on the chain. Future Bear dropouts won't suffer from this I believe...

This photo is prior to last tweaks.

Very nice!

Custom machined chainring with slots to match the crankset instead of holes would be awesome!

• #245
Ooh, I like that a lot!

Bike is amazing!
Digging the aero wheels.
Someone probably asked already, but what is the total weight ? -

Looks awesome. Why didn't you go for the bent seat tube and get the extra clearance that the other ones in the batch had? Apologies if youve already covered this repeatedly ;)
I will say hello for you. A few of my students have sites on the islands actually.
Grey bar tape is ordered. Had it on my road bike with same saddle and looks cool but understated imo.
AND Rothko is all about nuances and tones ;-)
